ClearBase/BlueBase:
The ClearBase/BlueBase switch function allows users to see the diagnostic
information in their preferred color/grayscale mode. Users can define
their own set of film simulation values or select the standard included
values.
TrueGrey®:
The TrueGrey® electronic system constantly checks the lowest black
level of the images displayed and provides unequaled image fidelity and
grayscale stability over time and across displays.
Phosphor Simulation:
The MWD 421 features a phosphor simulation tool, which represents images
as on grayscale displays featuring the P45 and P104 phosphors.
Uniform and Digital Focus:
The digital focus and astigmatism correction of Barco’s WAVE-technology
result in unequaled image fidelity and sharpness from corner to corner,
combined with screen-wide perfect geometry.
Image Conformance and Consistency:
Barco’s color CRT displays feature a unique calibration routine
by means of an optional external sensor and the MediCal® Pro image
conformance and consistency software. Quality and consistency of the image
can be automatically checked and corrected in case the system’s
results differ from the reference values.
Compatiblity and Connectivity:
The MWD 421 features a set of programmed scannings, which automatically
adjust the display’s timings to the graphics controller used. With
the USB-hub, keyboard and other computing devices can be connected.
