Tight integration to ANY ultrasound machine

  • Upgrades and interfaces to any ultrasound machine proving proprietary digital, DICOM 3.0 (digital), or a video output
  • Live image displayed on the ultrasound monitor does not undergo any analog to digital conversion.
  • Replays RGB (highest possible resolution) to the ultrasound monitor.
  • Uses Keypad control of on-screen graphics on Ultrasound Monitor.

Complete DICOM functionality

  • Opens a DICOM 3.0 patient study for each patient from a Bar Code Reader, Card Swipe, OCR or HIS/RIS via modality worklist.
  • Interfaces to HIS/RIS systems/DICOM archives to import patient demographics, previous images, and patient reports/documents for display on the ultrasound monitor.

Complete Image Storage

  • Automatically differentiates between RGB Black and white and RGB Color images to reduce file size by a factor of 3.
  • Allows any ultrasound machine to store and review thousands of images on board.
  • Images are stored as back-up independent of the review station, archive or film printer. This allows local review to eliminate downtime when a centralised failure occurs.
  • Stores static images in DICOM.
  • Stores full frame CINE clips as a DICOM multiframe object.

Extensive Local Review/Edit Capabilities

  • Allows replay on the ultrasound monitor of 1, 4, 9 or 16 stored images per page for speedy case review.
  • Simple and quick editing/image deletion saves on cost of hard copy or storage.
  • Provides easy deletion of last image stored during acquisition before being archived or printed.

Extensive Networking/Archive Functionality

  • Allows each ultrasound machine to stand alone as part of a distributed ultrasound image management system.
  • Allows individual images to be sent in the background as stored, to the selected printer, archive, review station, or Optical disk while the study is in progress.
  • Alternatively, allows an entire previous study to be sent in the background in batch mode to the selected printer, archive, review station, or Optical disk during or after a current study.
  • Sends to multiple DICOM 3.0 review stations, archives, and printers.

Other Features

  • Allows transfer of patient images or studies between Hard Drive, Optical Disk and Network Destinations.
  • Sends reports to Microsoft Windows compatible printers.
  • All operator features available when used portably.
  • Provides separate confidential teaching files.
  • Provides image files on a floppy disk for use with a personal computer for slide making or presentations.
