Originally VISIPLEX Medical Systems (Europe) GmbH has been founded in 1981 as the European Headquarters of an USA based company called VAS-Corporation.

In 1985 it became Matrix Instruments Europe to be transferred into Matrix Instruments Europe GmbH as of January 1986. In 1993, as part of a management buy-out from USA based AGFA-Matrix, the company changed it's name to VISIPLEX Medical Systems (Europe) GmbH, having it's place of business at Von-Braun-Str. 25 in 52511 Geilenkirchen, Germany. As VISIPLEX GmbH the company kept it's excellent working relationship to the major OEM's in Europe and in addition expanded the already existing dealer network throughout Western and Eastern Europe as well as the Middle East, Africa and Pacific Rim Region.

Under that structure VISIPLEX GmbH supports major medical OEM Headquarters, their local regional offices, independent dealers and end-users. Throughout the time VISIPLEX GmbH extended it's product range from Multiformat Imagers to conventional Radiology accessories, X-Ray Film processors, Dental and Veterinarian equipment as well as consumables.

With the announcement of Dicom, VISIPLEX GmbH was one of the first companies providing Dicom connectivity products to the medical community. VISIPLEX GmbH is therefore one of the oldest and most experienced company if it comes to Dicom connectivity questions.

Today, VISIPLEX GmbH not only still provides Dicom connectivity boxes, but moreover PACS components such as PACS workstation ViewMonitors and LCD Displays made by BARCO, SIEMENS and others, NAI Medical Dicom Recorders, OEM solutions as well as Dicom hardcopy imagers.

In addition VISIPLEX GmbH has become known as a leading supplier of SONY and MITSUBISHI medical products and consumables.

VISIPLEX Service Center

It should be clearly stated that VISIPLEX GmbH services all products sold, no matter whether those are in or out-of-warranty. For many of the products we offer an exchange service policy.

In addition we service and support the installed base of the various types of MultiImagers and the OEM variations thereof. In such capacity we are the International certified service center For SIEMENS Multispot cameras, PHILIPS PMI Imagers and GE Reprographs. Our spare parts stock exceeds 6,000 individual items for fast and efficient repairs.
